Obituary of Linda Rej

Linda A. Rej, 68, of Spearhead Dr., died Thursday, December 17, 2015, at home. Linda was born in Albany, the daughter of Albert and Arzula France. She had worked at Mont Pleasant High School as the school nurse, later working at Northeast Parent and Child for 23 years becoming the supervising nurse. She enjoyed music, riding horses and her three cats. She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church. She was was predeceased by her father, Albert France. Survivors include her son, Derek (Carmen) Rej; the love of her life and soulmate of 16 years, Alex Bautochka; her Arzula France; four siblings, Mary (George) Perlotto, Ellen (Frank) Bologna, Michael (Paula) France and Michelle (Tom) Mattice,; step daughters, Nicholl and Alexis Bautochka; three granddaughters, Raymond Lee, Sophie and Delilah Quandt; and three great-granddaughters Madison, Jillian and Sophia; and nieces and nephews. Funeral service, Monday morning 9:30 at St. Joseph's Church (First St.) Scotia where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours, Sunday evening 6 to 8 at the Daly Funeral Home, Inc., 242 McClellan St., Schenectady. Interment, Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna.
