Schenectady - Jeanette Delores Rose Marx, 61, of Schenectady, passed away after a longtime battle with cancer on Monday, Dec. 14, 2015. Born on October 26, 1954 in Schenectady, NY, she was the daughter of the late Virgil and Betty Woodbeck Rose. Jeanetta was a longtime area resident and attended Schenectady schools. She worked at Hallmark Nursing Home for many years and a few years at Burger King. She enjoyed being with friends and family. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Sandra Althiser, Manetta Rose, Noreen Althiser; grandmother, Ethel Woodbeck; many uncles; and brother-in-law, Roger Althiser. She is survived by her husband, six children, five brothers, and five sisters. Calling hours will be held on Dec. 26, 1 to 3 p.m. at Daly Funeral Home, Inc., 242 McClellan St., Schenectady. She will surely be missed. Rest in peace our sister. Love your brothers and sister.
