Obituary of Tara Wignot

Rotterdam- Tara Iadicicco Wignot 45 , passed away peacefully onto the Lord on Saturday, February 13, 2016, after a courageous battle with Multiple Myeloma. Tara was born on January 15, 1971 and attended Schalmont and graduated from Mohanasen Schools. In 1993 Tara met the love of her life, Joe and they were married on May 20, 1995 with plans to renew their vows this year. She worked several jobs but found her home and extended family when she began working at Jonathan's Restaurant in Duanesburg, 19 years ago. Tara's greatest joy in life were her sons, Joey and Alex. Tara is survived by her loving husband and soul mate, Joseph Wignot, her sons Joseph and Alexander Wignot. Her mother, Joan DeLorenzo-Fazio, her brothers & sister, Ralph (Darlene), Sherri Crandall, Frank (Deanna), Vincent Sr. (Diana) and Dean Iadicicco. She is also survived by her aunts Raphael (Richard) Warner, Ann (Larry) White & her uncle Vincent Iadicicco, who, after her father's passing became like a father to her. Her in-laws, Joseph & Del Wignot, sister-in-laws, Robin (Kevin) Wignot & Kirsten (Dan) Georgianna & her brother-in-law, Matthew (Angel) Wignot. Tara also leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and group of friends. Tara was predeceased by her father, Alexander J. Iadicicco, who she has now joined in Heaven. In lieu of flowers for Tara, you can make a donation to the trust that was set up for her boys, Joey and Alex Wignot at the First Niagara Bank, Bellevue Branch at 2526 Broadway Schenectady NY 12306 for their education. A Memorial Service will be held for Tara on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, Inc., 1605 Helderberg Ave., Rotterdam. Calling hours will be from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. after the Memorial Service. Interment will be private.
