Schenectady - Rodney J. Perkins was surrounded by care and compassion at Kingsway Arms Nursing Home when he died Tuesday, March 15, 2016. Rodney worked for Gifford Abstract Corp. for many years, retiring as a Sr. Vice President. He was well known and respected in his field. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Sue Perkins; and his nephews, Tom, Jim, Bob and Mark. The family would like to thank the parishioners of St. Luke's Catholic Church for their help getting Rodney to church, and Adina and Burt, for helping Rod to remain in his home as long as possible. A very special thank you to Richard, Margie and Cheryl for lovingly taking charge and being there for Rod and us in all ways.
