I want to offer my condolences to Joan’s family. I taught with her at Charlton Heights and a few of those years were when I taught first grade across the hall from her. I remember her quick wit and wonderful sense of humor. She could deliver these witticisms without any sign of a smile.

To Joan Lewis Family, I was the Music Teacher at Charlton Heights for many years and always enjoyed my associations with Joan. You could always tell how much she enjoyed her First Graders. When I retired in 1980, the faculty and parents made a lovely quilt for me. Joan embroidered a witch on a bicycle ( beautifully done) as I was noted for my witching at Hallowe'en.
