Obituary of Nancy Stiegeler

Rotterdam - Nancy Elizabeth Stiegeler, 59, a resident of Northgate, a home for the Center of Disabilities Services, formerly of Chism St,. died Friday, April 1, 2016 at Northgate. Nancy was born in Schenectady, the daughter of John and Jeanne Martin Stiegeler and was a graduate of Mohonasen High School. She had worked at the Marriott Hotel for 20 years, retiring in 2011. She loved to bowl, was a volunteer at Maple Ridge Center and a communicant of St. Gabriel's Church. She is survived by three siblings, William Stiegeler, Lynne (Louis) Leo, and James (Sharon) Stiegeler; and nine nieces and nephews; and was predeceased by her sister, June Mahan. Funeral service, Wednesday morning, 10:45 a.m. from Daly Funeral Home, Inc., 242 McClellan St., Schenectady, and 11:30 a.m. at St. Gabriel's Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours, Tuesday evening, 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. Interment, Cemetery, St. Joseph's Cemetery, Schenectady.
