Schenectady - Mina Hyson, 97, passed away peacefully Thursday, April 7 at Albany Medical Center. Born in Brainsville, NY, Mina did domestic help for private families for 35 years. Wife of the late Lester Hyson, she was also predeceased by her son, Raymond, who died in Vietnam. Survived by five children, Lester Hyson, Mary Ann Hutchins, Della Montefusco, Marilyn Dixon and Douglas Hyson. Mina is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildern; one great-great-grandson; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service, Tuesday, 11 o'clock a.m. at Daly Funeral Home, Inc., 242 McClellan St, Schenectady.. An hour of visitation will precede the service, from 10 to 11 a.m. Interment, Vale Cemetery, Schenectady.
