Obituary of Stephen Price

North Port, Fl. - Stephen Eric Price, 67, courageously went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 10, 2016, following a brief illness, with his wife and step-daughter by his side. Born in Schenectady, Steve was a graduate of Mohanasen High School and Albany Business College. Steve served in the United States Army in Vietnam. A longtime resident of the Schenectady area, Steve retired from Glendale Nursing Home in 2007, before relocating to Florida in 2011. He was predeceased by a previous wife, Joann Aldi Price, she died in 1999. Steve is survived by his wife, Lynn Sherwood Price; his step-children, Courtney (Eric) Scalise of Grapevine, TX, Kenneth (Rebecca) Barger of Charlton and Jeremy (Christine) Barger of Perry; four grandchildren, Jeremy, Jeffrey, Lilly, Jackson, and Jaelynn; brothers, David (Lori) Price and Mark (Susan) Price; and a sister, Barbara (Bob) Freer and several nieces and nephews. Steve's final resting place will be at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville. Calling hours will be held Wednesday morning, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Daly Funeral Home, Inc., 242 McClellan St., Schenectady.
