Princetown - Marshall E Kline, Sr (Spike), 67, died Sunday, May 1, 2016, at home after a long illness, next to the love of his life. Marshall was born in Oneonta, the son of Burton and Erma Kline. He was a graduate of the Edmeston Central Schools. He served in the U. S. Marine Corps for 17 and a half years, where he served in 3 wars; Vietnam, Beirut and Desert Storm. He had worked for BTA Trucking Co. for 13 years, loved working on cars and was an avid NASCAR fan and was a former member of the Moose. He is survived by his wife of 46 years Theresa LaRowe Kline; four children, Donald (Wendy) Kuhn, Marshall "Tiger" (Lesley) Kline, Erica (Kyle) Perry and Travis (Dorothy) Kline; siblings Edward Kline, twin sister Marcia Cadwell, James Gott, Bonnie Wetherbee and Brian Gott ; 11 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours Monday morning, May 9, from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon at Daly Funeral Home ,Inc., 242 McClellan St., Schenectady. Interment will be in Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, with a committal prayer and a military honors ceremony. Memorial contributions may be made to The Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Rd., Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256.
