Rotterdam - Helen Gilmartin McBride, 87, passed away at home on May 6, 2016. A lover of books, animals and tiramisu, she will be sorely missed. She had been a communicant of St. Gabriel's Church. She was predeceased by her husband, James A. McBride and her siblings, Sr. Clara Gilmartin, Joseph Gilmartin and Betty Bouchard.
Helen is survived by her children, Kathleen McBride, James (Sharon) McBride, Ti (Betsey) McBride, Mary (Chris) Capobianco and Ann McBride and her grandchildren, Carla, Christina and Nicholas Capobianco.
Special thanks to Yvonne, Lula, Maureen and Donna, for their kindness and care.
Funeral service will be Tuesday morning at 10:00 a.m. at St. Gabriel's Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.
Calling hours are Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Daly Funeral Home, Inc., 242 McClellan St., Schenectady, NY. Interment, St. Peter's Cemetery, Stillwater, NY
