Scotia - Kenneth J. Mundweiler, Jr, 75, of Cambridge Manor and Lake Pleasant,, died Sunday, May 8, 2016 at Albany Medical Center. Ken was born in Schenectady, the son of Kenneth and Margaret Mundweiler, Sr. He was a graduate of St. Columba's High School and Siena College. He was employed by New York State Retirement System. Ken's enthusiasm for sports began as a member of the '53 Little League World Series Team. He was a standout basketball player, an avid bowler and an accomplished photographer. He and his family enjoyed all of their summers at their camp in Lake Pleasant, where he was a passionate fisherman, water skier and sailor. Ken's favorite times were spent on his porch with his family and his Adirondack friends. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carolyn Connelly Mundweiler. Three children, Patricia (Michael) Holmes and their children, Stephanie, Kelly, Robert and Matthew; Joseph (Cheryl) Mundweiler and their children, Joseph (Chelsea), Jennifer (Andrew) Buser and Daniel; Richard (Amy) Mundweiler and their children, Derrick, Andrew and Brandon. He was predeceased by his mother, Margaret and his father, Kenneth J. Mundweiler, Sr. and his long devoted friend, "Cuby" Fiorillo. Funeral service Thursday morning (today) 10:00 a.m. were held Wednesday afternoon 4 to 8 in the evening, at Daly Funeral Home, Inc., 242 McClellan St., Schenectady. Interment, St. Joseph's Cemetery, Schenectady. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Church, 45 MacArthur Dr., Scotia, NY 12302 or to City Mission, 425 Hamilton St., Schenectady, NY 12305.
