Glenville - Dorothy F. Jones, 87, of Saratoga Rd. passed away peacefully Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at Evergreen Commons in East Greenbush. Born in Schenectady, Dorothy enjoyed working in the backyard and wintering in Florida . She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Robert C Jones; a son, Kenneth and his wife Mary of Esperance and a daughter, Victoria and her husband Joseph of Colonie; four grandchildren, Christopher, Kelli, Jillian and Joseph (John). Also survived by a great-grandson, Caleb Anthony; two sisters, Elizabeth Sisk and Lucille Budka and several nieces and nephews . She was predeceased by her sister Barbara Eveland . Funeral Service, Saturday morning 11:30 from Daly Funeral Home, Inc., 242 McClellan St. and 12 Noon at St. Luke's Roman Catholic Church. An hour of visitation will precede the service Saturday morning, 10:30-11:30 at the funeral home. Interment, Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna . The family requests no flowers be sent; memorial contributions may be made to St Luke's Roman Catholic Church, 1241 State St., Schenectady, NY 12309.
