Marjorie Chapman Obituary

Marjorie Y. Chapman, 83, of Crooks Grove Rd., died Wednesday, July 15, 2009, peacefully at home. Mrs. Chapman was born in Schenectady and was a graduate of Nott Terrace High School. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will always be remembered as an excellent cook, love of nature and animals. Marjorie was a former member of the Moose. She was married to Charles L. Chapman. He died in 1989. Marjorie is survived by one son, Gary (Karen) Chapman of Milton; one sister, Fern Capone of Scotia; five grandchildren, Georgiana, William, Katherine, Michelle and Jeremiah; tengreat-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours, Friday afternoon, 1:30 to 2:30 at the Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St., Schenectady, followed by a graveside service at Park Cemetery, Scotia. Memorial contributions may be made to Gilda's Club, 1 Penny Ln., Latham, NY 12110 or the Animal Protective Foundation, 53 Maple Ave., Scotia, NY 12302.
