Obituary of Theresa Evans

Glenville - Theresa "Terry" C. Evans, of Pinewood Dr., died Wednesday, November 9, 2016, at the Glendale Home. Terry was born in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Walter and Ella Clancey. She moved to the Galway area as a child and was a graduate of Saratoga High School and Northeastern University, where she earned a B.A. in Business. Through the years she had worked for several companies including General Electric. She had been active with her Catholic faith. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Alex Evans; and is survived by her daughter, Shirley Wells of Syracuse; a sister, Rose Rostowski of Amsterdam; a granddaughter, Amber Schermerhorn; two great-granddaughters, Kylie and Danica; and two nieces. Funeral service, Saturday afternoon, 12:30 at Daly Funeral Home, Inc., 242 McClellan St., Schenectady. A calling hour will precede the service. Interment, East Galway Cemetery.
