Obituary of Lydia Bricoccoli

Lydia C. Bricoccoli,95 of Parkside Trail , died Wednesday, November 16, 2016, at the Wesley Health Care Center in Saratoga Springs. Lydia was born in New Haven, CT the daughter of Dominic and Italina Dionisi and was a graduate of Hillhouse High School. She resided most of her life in the Schenectady area. She had worked at Ellis Hospital for 23 years , retiring in 1985, where she continued to volunteer at the hospital for many years. She been a communicant of St. Anthony's Church in Schenectady, before becoming a communicant of Our Lady of Grace Church. Her favorite past time was spent with family and preparing food for the holidays and family's festivities. She was predeceased by her husband Anthony M. Bricoccoli, he died in 1992. Lydia is survived by two children Linda (Gary) Sisson and Paul (Marilyn) Bricoccoli ; two sisters Agnes (the late Frank) Polverari and Clara (the late James) Torniero; five grandchildren Kirk Sisson, Craig (Tiffany) Sisson, Paul Jr. (Johnna) Bricoccoli, Pamela( Craig) Bricoccoli Davidson and Vincent (Elena) Bricoccoli,; six great grandchildren Samantha and Jack Sisson and Sofie, Livia, Claudette and Tristan Bricoccoli; many nieces and nephews. Funeral service Monday morning 11:00 at Our Lady of Grace Church, 73 Midline Rd. (Rt. 146A), Ballston Lake, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. A calling hour will held 10 to 11:00 at the church. Interment, St. Anthony's Cemetery, Glenville.
