Obituary of Cartha Clooney

Cartha M. K. Coonley, 73, of Rotterdam, passed away July 8, 2009. Cartha was born in Kingfisher, Oklahoma, on October 26, 1935, a daughter of the late Kieth and Grace Krieble. She was raised and educated in Schenectady and graduated from Draper High School. Cartha earned a master's degree from the University at Albany and was employed by General Electric. She was a member of the Lynnwood Reformed Church and the G.E. Women's Club. Survivors include her sisters, Margie K. Laurie of Valatie and Ruth L. Pitrowski of Rome, NY; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held Friday at noon from the Lynnwood Reformed Church, 3714 Carman Road, Guilderland. Interment will follow in Schenectady Memorial Park, Rotterdam. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the church from 11 to 12 noon. The service will begin at noon.
