Mary was my administrative assistant at KAPL for about 9 years from 1980 to 1989. I managed a design group with 16 or so engineers who were mostly early in their career. Mary was like a mother to the bunch of us keeping everyone in line, an open ear for problems some had, all the while typing up all our proposals and specifications, answering the phone, and most of all a happy and cheerful face in our office. But I think one of the things most memorable where the greek pastries she would make. Every Christmas, she would gift me with a whole large box of various goodies most of which she made before she came to work. I have always had fond memories of Mary and she helped me make this period of my career the most memorable! My thoughts and prayers are with her and her family.
