Melbourne, FL - Terence (Terry ) Lester, 73, passed away Febuary 24, 2017. Formerly of Schenectady, born April 20, 1943, to Leo Lester and Evelyn Connolly Lynch. He graduated from Mont Pleasant High School 1961 and attended Siena College.
Terry was a noted musician with many area bands, a radio announcer for WSNY and WGY. He started one of the first recording studios in the area, known as "This is a Recording", for voice-over and commercials. His voice was well recognized on the radio and TV. He spent many years in California, using his talent, before retiring to Florida. His voice and humor will be surely missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his sister, Candace (Thomas) Maloney; his beloved twin nieces, Kimberly (David) Moehler and Kristi (David) Serafino; and four great nephews and nieces.
A graveside service, honoring Terry's life, will be held privately at St Patrick's Cemetery, Johnstown, New York, at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital., 262 Danny Thomas Place. Memphis, TN 38105.
