Obituary of Gladys Lashway

Schenectady - Gladys M. Lashway, 89 of Oakwood Ave., died Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at home surrounded by her loving family. Gladys was born and educated in E. Worcester, the daughter of Lawrence and Margaret Sisson. She enjoyed scratch offs, bingo, going to the casino, crocheting and was a big animal lover. She is survived by nine children, Betty, Bill, Margaret, Rallis, Joan, Marie, Larry, Donna and Donny; siblings and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four children, Stanley, Joanne, Daniel and Gary. Funeral service, Tuesday morning, 11 a.m. at the Daly Funeral Home, Inc., 242 McClellan St., Schenectady. A calling hour will be held from 10 to 11 at the funeral home. Interment, Sloansville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Protective Foundation, 53 Maple Ave., Schenectady.
