Obituary of Dorothy C. Sherman

Scotia - Dorothy C. Sherman, 96, formerly of Swaggertown Rd., died Monday, June 12, 2017, at the Baptist Health and Rehabilitation Center, Scotia. Dorothy was born in Galway, the daughter of Myron and Hazel Wolfe and was a graduate of Saratoga High School. She had worked at Ellis Hospital, as support staff in the Central Service Dept, retiring in 1986 and had been a volunteer at Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital. She is survived by three children, Ralph (Carol) Sherman, Marilyn (Charles) Brooks and Arlene (Noreen Mastro) Sherman; one brother, M. Hugh Wolfe; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sons, Robert and Bruce Sherman and a brother, Elmer Wolfe and her former husband, Ernest Sherman. Funeral service private at the convenience of the family.
