Obituary of Albertine Hood

Schenectady - Albertine Silaika Hood, 80, passed away Thursday, July 6th at Ellis Hospital after a brief illness.

Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Gertrude Silaika and graduated from Nott Terrace High School. Albertine was predeceased by her loving husband, Joseph Hood; sister, Catherine Jones; Brothers, Edward and Robert Silaika.

Survived by her son Jeffery Hood; grandson, Jason Hood; brother, Richard (Norma) Silaika; sister, Gertrude Moraski; several nieces aand nephews and her talented bird, "Birdie" who talked and kept Albertine compay for many years.

"I will always remember how warm and thoughtful you were towards me.  You will aways be in my heart - Your grandson"

The funeral service will be Monday at 12 noon at Daly Funeral Home, Inc., 242 McClellan St., Schenectady. A calling hour will precede the service Monday from 11 a.m. to 12 noon at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Park View Cemetery.
