Obituary of Justine M. Connelly

Schenectady - Justine M. Connelly, 84, formerly of Schenectady, died Monday, July 24, 2017, at the Baptist Health and Rehabilitation Center. Justine was born in Schenectady the daughter of Daniel and Teresa Connelly and was a graduate of Nott Terrace High School and had attended the College of St. Rose. For 20 years she worked at the family business, the Connelly Dairy. Later working for 29 years at Schenectady County Community College, in the Finance Department, both jobs as a bookkeeper. She had a very active life with family and friends and was a longtime communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church. She was predeceased by her two sisters, Diane Hancock and Teresa Connelly. Her survivors include Karen Cassidy; husband, Edward; children, Thomas, Sarah and John; Terry Green, husband Stace; daughter, Littlepage; Frank Hancock, wife, Lucinda, sons, Frank and Robert ; Carolyn Hall, husband Thomas, children, Thomas and Margaret; many cousins and brother-in-law, Frank Hancock and wife, Gale. Funeral service Friday 10:15 from the Daly Funeral Home, Inc., 242 McClellan St., Schenectady and 11 at St. John the Evangelist Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours, Thursday evening 5 to 7 at the funeral home. Interment, St. John's Cemetery, Schenectady.
