Obituary of Frank J. Barry

Niskayuna - Frank Barry, 70, of Trottingham Dr., died Saturday, September 30, 2017 at home. He was born in Plainfield, NJ, the son of John and Agnes Barry. He earned his undergraduate degree from Boston University and his law degree from Villanova University. He moved to the Niskayuna area in 1975. Frank worked for over 30 years as an attorney for the New York State Department of Health in Albany. He enjoyed golf, reading, walks in the neighborhood and the simple things of life. He was a communicant of St. Kateri Tekakwitha Parish. Frank is survived by his wife of nearly 43 years, Linda Adams Barry, they were married on October 19, 1974; two sons, Christopher Barry and Michael Barry; a sister, Maureen (Roger) Kuneyl; many cousins and a niece and nephew. He was predeceased by his brother, James Barry. Funeral service, Wednesday morning, 8:15 a.m. from the Daly Funeral Home, Inc., 242 McClellan St., Schenectady, and 9 a.m. at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Parish (1801 Union St., Niskayuna), where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours, Tuesday evening, 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment, Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna. Memorial contributions may be made to Capital City Rescue Mission, 259 S.
