My mother, Joan, served with Mrs. France on several committees such as The Bereavement Committee and the BG Alumni mothers. My brother and sister attended St Helen's grammar school as well with Mrs. France's children. They worked compatibly and the mothers very much enjoyed each others company on a personal level as well.
Fr. Bob had it right at the funeral Mass when he gave her eulogy.
Arzula France was truly a good servant whom I am certain was welcomed into Heaven with much joy.
No matter our age, we are never ready to lose them. I am so sorry for your loss.
