Obituary of Helen Cuoco

Helen E. Cuoco, 93, formerly of Harold St., died Sunday, February 26, 2012, at the Baptist Health and Rehabilitation Center after a brief illness. Helen was born and educated in Schenectady, the daughter of Joseph and Josephine Capra. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved family gatherings, playing cards, bingo, and gardening. Helen was a longtime communicant of Our Lady of Assumption Church and a member of the Rosary Society, and in more recent years a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church. Mrs. Cuoco was predeceased by her husband, Gerald Cuoco; he died in 1985. She is survived by three children, Geraldine Epting of Alplaus, Robert (Margaret) Cuoco of Rexford and Dennis Cuoco of Rotterdam; two brothers, Samuel and Nicholas Capra, both of Rotterdam; seven grandhchildren, Sheryl (Jim) Barnes, Laurie and Tracie Epting, Gail (Michael) Todd, Gary (Leah) Cuoco and Dustin and Concetta Cuoco; nine greatgrandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Helen was predeceased by her two sisters, Betty Mastriani and Rose Lombardi. Funeral service Tuesday morning 10:30 from the Daly Funeral Home, Inc., 242 McClellan St., Schenectady and 11 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours 9 to 10:30 in the morning at the funeral home. Entombment St. Anthony's Cemetery, Glenville. Memorial contributions may be made to Baptist Health and Rehabilitation Center, 297 N.
