Obituary of Ronald Lewis Pardi

Schenectady – Ronald Lewis Pardi, 83, passed away Wednesday February 28, 2018. Ronald was born is Schenectady the son of the late Lawrence and Lucy (Mangino) Pardi. He was 1954 graduate of Draper High School where he was an MVP of the Varsity Basketball Team and earned his Associates Degree from Hudson Valley Community College. As a young man Ronald worked at Bendix in Green Island. After a few years, he took a job across the street in Green Island at Ford Motor Co., where he worked until that location was closed and he was transferred to Ford in Plymouth, MI. Ronald enjoyed working at Ford, devoting more than twenty years of his professional life to them and holding as many as 12 patents through Ford. He liked to travel, garden and was a wonderful cook. Ronald loved music and was a bassist with the Lenny Riccardi Orchestra. Above all, Ron was a devoted family man who adored his wife, children and grandchildren. He is survived his wife of 60 years Judith (Verrigni) Pardi, children: Linda (Dominic) Leone, Robert (Trisha) Pardi and Lawrence (Annamia) Pardi, grandchildren: David, Jessica, Rocco and Joseph, sister Lorelei Clark, sisters-in-law: Angela Balasco, Vera Masi, Julia (Paul) Hochmouth, Lucy Verrigni and Marlene Verrigni, brother-in-law S. Robert (Mareda) Verrigni and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his mother and father –in-law Guiseppe and Lucia Verrigni, son-in-law David Eliseo, brothers-in-law: Frank Balasco, Rocco Verrigni and Joseph Masi. Ronald's family would like to thank Vera Masi, Lucy Verrigni, Karen and Joe Masi, John Masi and cousin Carol Orapollo for their love and support. Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
