Obituary of Concetta C. Dawsey

Glenville - Concetta C. Dawsey, 81 died Monday, January 22, 2018, at Ellis Hospital, after a long illness.

Connie was born in Schenectady, the daughter of Gaetano and Carmela Andriano. She was a graduate of Nott Terrace High School. She had worked at the General Electric Co. for many years as an accounting clerk, before retiring many years ago. Connie will be remembered as a cherished wife, mother and grandmother. She was a communicant of the Church of the Immaculate Conception . She was survived by her devoted husband Robert T. Dawsey at the time of her death. They married in 1957. He died on March 17, 2018.

She is survived by two children, Diana Gribben and Robert (Theresa) Dawsey; three grandchildren, Daniel and Emily Gribben and Lauren Dawsey; one brother, Thomas Andriano; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three siblings, Pat and Michael Andriano and Frances Martinez.

Funeral service Tuesday morning 10:00 a.m. at the Church of the Immaculate Conception. Interment, St. Anthony's Cemetery. A reception will follow the interment at the parish center.
