Obituary of Marion Schrom

Princetown - Marion Schrom, 89, passed away Sunday, April 22, 2018 at the Schenectady Center Nursing Home after a short illness. Born on November 3, 1928 in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late Stanley Kruk and Jessie Poteralski Kruk. Marion attended Schenectady schools and was co-owner of Jr's Inn, later worked at Draper Pharmacy and retired from Campbell Plastics. She was a communicate of the Church of St. Adalbert and enjoyed crafts, cooking and gardening. Besides her parents Marion was predeceased by her husbands Francis J. Hodorowski, 1948 and Robert Schrom 2008. Her siblings Matthew Kruk, Sylvia Kruk and Stanley Kruk and her beloved grandson Christopher Schrom. Marion is survived by her 4 children, John (Lucille) Hodorowski, Roberta (Ronald) Cipriano, David Schrom and Brian Schrom, 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours and funeral services will be private.
