Obituary of Marcia Serafino

Schenectady – Marcia Serafino, formerly of Niskayuna, 82, passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 31, 2018.
Marcia was born in Albany the daughter of the late Catherine and William Kearns, Sr. and was a lifelong capital district resident. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Pasquale Serafino.
She is survived by her children: Edward Serafino, Donna Serafino and Philip Serafino, grandchildren: Lindsey Trentini, Shannon Collins, Justin Lowery and Susie Serafino, her brother William Kearns, Jr. and many great-grandchildren.
Marcia helped to raise her grandchildren, especially Lindsey and late in life, Lindsey was able to help care for her Marcia.
Funeral services will be Friday 11:00 a.m. at Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St., Schenectady. A calling hour will precede the funeral, from 10:00 am to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont.
