Obituary of Donna A. Bourdeau

Glenville - Donna A. Bourdeau, 68, died unexpectedly Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Albany Medical Center. Donna was born in Niskayuna, the daughter of Donald and Evelyn Belouin. She was a graduate of St. Columba's High School and the Rochester Dental Institute. She worked in Dr. Joseph Guerra's dental office for many years. Donna was a member of St. Elizabeth's Auxiliary, the Ladies of Charity and a longtime communicant of St. Joseph's Church. Her greatest joy in life was being Nana. She loved family and social gatherings and was always the life of the party. Donna made every occasion special with her witty humor and fun loving spirit. She will be remembered as a loving wife, dedicated and devoted mother, and a Nana like no other. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Lawrence Bourdeau. Also survived by two children, Larry (Sara) Bourdeau of Tallahassee, FL and Michelle Bourdeau of Meriden, CT; four siblings, Pam (Richard) Frederick, Mary (John) Osuch, Ann Carroll and Donald (Kim) Belouin; three grandchildren, Baylee and Brandon Bourdeau and Evelyn Nassif; cousins, many nieces and nephews, and lifelong friends. She was predeceased by her parents and infant brother Gary. Funeral service will be held Monday evening 8:00 PM at St. Joseph's Church (Lafayette and State St.) where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be held at the church from 6:30 to 8:00 PM prior to the Mass. Interment, Tuesday morning 10:15 at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Schenectady.
