Obituary of Stephen C. Stewart

Schenectady - Stephen C. Stewart, 52 died October 6, 2018, at home , with family and his Life Partner Kristen A. Long, after battling brain cancer for 22 months. A Steeler's fan, guitar player, Jack of All Trades, who loved his family, friends and pets. The son of Kenneth Stewart and Clara Ann O'Hanlon, he is survived by his step mother Anne Stewart, four children Stephen, William Christina (Kent) Montgomery and Kayla; brothers Robert, John, James, and Tim; loving sister Mary Beth Flanagan; half / step siblings; grandchildren Chase, Peyton, Kyran, Jaxon, Julianna, Autumn and Kinley; cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Kenneth Stewart. Funeral service Saturday morning 10:00 at St. Joseph's Church (State and Lafayette) where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Followed by a private interment and family and friend gathering.
