Obituary of John J. Chaparos

Clifton Park - John J. Chaparos,83, passed away suddenly and peacefully November 21,2018. Born April 2, 1935 to Nicholas and Besse Chaparos. Married Sally Ann Cotton October 15,1961. Dad or as everyone knew him, Johnny, 'The Greek," will be remembered forever for his passion for life and will be missed greatly by his family and friends. He was a valuable member of Carpenters local 370 for over 30 years. He had a great LOVE of nature and was an accomplished hunter and outdoorsman . He had some great fish stories, (true or not). He also loved snowmobiles, boats and any other vessel that brought him closer with the outdoors. He was predeceased by his loving wife Sally Ann Chaparos. Also, his brother Nicholas Chaparos. He is survived by his daughter Kimberly (Frederick )Fisk, his son James Chaparos, grandchildren, great grandchildren and his sister Angela Jacobi. An informal memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 4th at 6pm at Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St., Schenectady.
