Obituary of Joan Deininger

Joan E. Deininger, 69, of Cleveland Ave., passed away Monday evening, May 24, 2010, at Kingsway Arms Nursing Home. Joan was born in Schenectady on August 27, 1940, a daughter of the late Albert and Mabel LaMont. She was a graduate of Nott Terrace High School and devoted her life to being a homemaker. Survivors include her beloved husband, Ronald L. Deininger, Sr.; two children, Sherri Gochenaur and her husband, John of Lenox, MA, and Ronald L. Deininger, Jr., and his wife, Terri of Schenectady; six grandchildren, Jennifer, Michelle and John Gochenaur, Brian, Mark and Tyler Deininger; one great-grandson, Jayden; two sisters, Marylou Schaffer and Helen I. Pickette; and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Monday, May 31, 2010 at 10 a.m. from St. Luke's Church, State Street. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Inurnment will be in Schenectady Memorial Park Mausoleum, Rotterdam.
