Obituary of Ronald Deininger SR

SCHENECTADY- Ronald L. Deininger, Sr., 70, died Friday, August 27, 2010 at Ellis Hospital. Ron was born in Covington, Kentucky on January 19, 1940, a son of the late Lawrence and Dorothy Mardis Deininger. He faithfully served in the United States Navy from 1958 to 1960. For 35 years Ron was employed by General Electric in Schenectady as a machinist. He was predeceased by his wife, Joan Lamont Deininger, whom he married February 11, 1961. She died May 24, 2010. Survivors include his children, Sherri Gochenaur and her husband John of Lenox, Ma, and son, Ronald L. Deininger, Jr. and his wife Terri of Schenectady; grandchildren, Jennifer, Michelle, and John Gochenaur, Brian, Mark, and Tyler Deininger; great grandson, Jayden Deininger; siblings, Lawrence Deininger and his wife Sheila, Gary Deininger and his wife Kathy, Carol Maxwell and her husband Mike, Janet Stahl and her husband Jerry, William Deininger and his wife Dolores; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday morning at 9 A.M. at St. Luke's Church, State Street, Schenectady. Interment will be held in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville, N.Y. at noon. Calling hours will be held Thursday evening from 5 to 7 P.M. at the Daly Funeral Home. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
