John W. (McMenamy) Levchuk posted a condolence
Monday, December 30, 2019
I wish to send my heartfelt albeit belated condolences to Vivian's family and her sisters Thelma and Shirley, whom I also had met. I remember Vivian and her sisters from decades ago from when Grandma Mabel and Grandpa Otto lived in Averill Park, and later at the funeral gathering upon Grandpa's death in 1968. Between those years, I recall how Grandma Mabel always spoke so highly of Vivian.
I also just found Kenny's obituary recently doing a genealogy search. I wish to also express here my condolences for Kenny. I recall quite vividly the photo of Kenny in his navy uniform that Grandma Mabel had on his bedroom bureau in Averill Park. That photo was in my mind when I, too, joined the navy several years later.
With warm regards,
CAPT John W. (McMenamy) Levchuk, PhD, US Public Health Service, Retired, Columbia, Maryland.

(For those who might not recognize the name "Levchuk", I am Otto's oldest grandson, born to Virginia Klotz-McMenamy.)

Diane and family,
I am so sorry to hear about your mom's passing. I know she was very dear to your hearts and I'm glad that you enjoyed a nice birthday with her before her death. Keep the good memories close as I'm sure she would like. It sounds like she had a long and wonderful life and she was very fortunate to have such a lovely family.
My best, always,
-Donna Sichak
