Obituary of Kathleen A. Percival

Schenectady - Kathleen Albertha Percival fondly known as Junie to many was born in Ann's Grove Village on August 18, 1950, to Theophilus and Pearly Adams.

The Lord called Kathleen(Junie) home on September 20th, 2019. The fifteenth of 19 children, she was the sister of Carmen, Claudette, Alvin, Colin(Ted) Eton(Terry)Lorris, the late Daphney, Patrica, Derrick, James (King), Shawn, Shane, Sean, Wayne Edmay and Hermin.

Devoted mother to Ingram Percival, Quilon Percival Wise (Joseph) and Quinel Percival. Grandmother to Taniya, Alexis, Kylan, Ingram Jr.,Olivia, Savannah and the late Camille Wise. She was the Granddaughter of the late Edward and Kathleen Simon; Niece of Eileen Simon and the late Clarabel Simon, Gladstone Simon, Ruby Simon, Titus Martin, and Dr. Edward Simon. Nieces and Nephews;

Pinkey, Melisha, Karen, Vaughn, Kerry, Joson, Shundell, Carline, Patrick the late Dale Bentick and Nebierth Simon Cousin of Adams, Denbows, Pompey, Prescotts, Crawfords,Monizes, Martins, Simons and many others whose names time will not permit me to mention but equally important to our family.

In her early years, Kathleen attended Ann's Grove Roman Catholic school. She later migrated to the U.S.A. She worked as a CNA and also for the Albany City School District as a teacher's assistant for many years. Her childhood friend was Winifred Eastman.

A famous writer once said "We make a living by what we get, we mark a life by what we give." If that is true, then Kathleen made a great life. She was the most giving and generous person known. Kathleen was a woman of great love and compassion; a remarkable thoughtful, hardworking, fun-loving and God fearing person.

Funeral service, Saturday morning, 10:00, at Daly Funeral Home, Inc., 242 McClellan St., Schenectady.  A calling hour will be held from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.  Interment, Graceland Cemetery, Albany.
