I remember meeting Aaron, the day he & his mom moved in on my road. He couldn’t have been much more than 5. I was walking up the path alongside the railroad, right by his house. I was carrying a basket of wild strawberries, for my mom to make jam.
He walked right up to me, all smile & blonde hair, “Hi! I’m Aaron!”; and he put out his tiny little hand to shake mine...
I watched him grow up. He remembered me with a wallet size of his senior photo. I lost track of him, after that; and then met up with him, again, about 15 years ago. He hugged me like we’d never lost touch. He was an animal lover, like me. He loved to cook and he cherished his friends.
RIP Aaron...Gone far too young...
