My mother was Bud's cousin, Virginia Opela. Whenever she referred to him it was never just "Bud". It was always "my cousin Bud". I just recently found out about Bud's passing from his cousin Ed Maxwell's wife. My sincere condolences on your loss as another member of our extended family passes on.
