Maryann and I have known Clyde and Betty since the early mid 70's. He was a character that told us many stories of his exploits in the military and hunting. I spent many hours/days hunting on Blenham Mountain with him along with hours deep sea fishing and ice fishing on local lakes. He was a great mentor and will be missed.

Deepest condolences from Carole, Pat, Ken and Steve Chaisson. Clyde was a great mentor and friend. The time spent hunting/freezing on Blenheim Hill was always a ritual we looked forward to. The warmth of the camper at lunch time and the stories of the big buck that got away were riveting, even though we heard them every weekend throughout our youth. Riding in the tri-hull on Sacandaga was another one of those fun things even though we never cracked the code on water skiing. Simply sitting around the wood stove on Ave H are cherished memories. We'll all miss Clyde, but know deep in our hearts there's part of him in all of us. A passion for the outdoors, good friendships and an appreciation for red berets.
