Malvin was also a passionate of his skill as a mechanic and could often be found at Mineke with Ronny and Bob, his work brothers, when he wasn't at home and also was an amazing singer. He became a Great Man of Honor whom all his family and friends are very proud. Malvin said it years ago "one of these days it won't be long, they gonna look for me and I've gone on home; when I get to heaven I'm a scream and shout, and ain't nobody gonna put me out."
