Angela R. Farry passed away peacefully into the loving arms of Jesus on December 10, 2020. During the last hours of her life she was surrounded at home by her loved ones, family friend Anne Kirkland and Angela's daughter's dog Lexi, whom she adored. Angela was born in Schenectady, New York on July 18, 1937 to the late Anthony Rossi and Dora Musco Rossi . Angela graduated from Nott Terrace High School in 1955 where she was a member of the student council and a proud cheerleader. Angela excelled academically and in the many sports she participated in. She was well loved and respected by her teachers and peers. Angela graduated from Mildred Elley Business School with honors. She married her high school sweetheart Jude T. Farry on August 8, 1959. They were married for 55 years. Angela worked as a secretary and retired from Scotia-Glenville High School when her first grandchild Matthew was born. She raised her family and lived in Scotia, New York for many years. Angela loved books and music, watching tennis, the Yankees, trips to the shore, Mass at Saint Matthews, the Music Ministry and Father Chris DeGiovine. Most importantly, Angela cherished spending time with her family. She spent many joyous holidays, birthdays and vacations with her family. She spent hours and hours nurturing her grandchildren, rocking them, reading to them, singing to them and playing teacher, nurse, construction, monopoly and anything else they wanted to play. Angela spent the last few years of her life comfortable, secure and happy living with her daughter Karen, her son-in-law Joe, and her grandson Matthew, and of course, her beloved companion Lexi. Angela was predeceased by her parents, her first born son Kevin Jude Farry and her husband Jude. She is survived by her daughter Karen Parrottino (Joseph), her son Michael Jude Farry (Anita) and her grandchildren Matthew Joseph Parrottino, Madeline Rose Farry and Lucas Michael Jude Farry. She is also survived by her brother-in-law Joseph Farry (Sherrill) as well as her sister-in-law Nell D'Luhosch (Peter), Nell and Peter's children Peter D. D'Luhosch (Beth) and Anne E. D'Luhosch, and by Joyce Musco (John) and their children Mark Musco (Jamie) and Valerie Carley (Mark). The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the Albany County Sheriff's EMS Unit for their support in getting Angela home and ensuring her comfort in her last hours. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Albany County Sheriff's EMS Unit or to Saint Jude Children's Hospital. The family greatly appreciate your thoughts and prayers but respectfully understands, given COVID-19 concerns, that attendance is not expected. Visitation will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 AM on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Saint Matthew's Church in Voorheesville, New York, with a Mass immediately following.
