Ray Van Wagner, 78, passed away Wednesday December 23, 2020 at Ellis Hospital.
Ray was born and raised in Saratoga Springs, NY, the son of the late Lewis and Elsie Van Wagner.
He proudly served in the US Army from 1964 to 1966 serving in Vietnam. Ray worked for Campbell Plastics in Rotterdam for more than 20 years and then went on to work for Troy-Built as a machine operator at both. He was a member of the Moose Lodge #256, a Nascar fan and above all a family man.
He was devoted to his wife, Mar Mar, their children and their grandkids. Ray is survived by his wife of 42 years, Marianne Van Wagner, sons Lonnie (Donna) Royer and Michael (Christine) Royer, grandchildren: Jessica Rae, Ryan, Rebecca and Paul, sister Barbara Arnold and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Carol Nichols.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday 11 a.m. at Gerald B H Solomon, Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville, NY.
