Scotia- Geraldine (Geri) Ambrozak went to our Lord on Friday February 5, 2010. Mrs. Ambrozak was born October 1, 1934 in Amsterdam, NY. The daughter of Edna and Bruno Waschak. She was a graduate of Amsterdam High School class 1952. She was employed by General Electric Company for 40 years as an administrative clerk in the Human Resources Department retiring in 1994. She was a member of the GE Woman's Club. Geri enjoyed traveling with her husband, vacations in Cape Cod, family vacations, camping at the islands of Lake George and boating. Most of all shopping and laughing with her daughter Jodi. She was devoted to her grandchildren Emily and Robbi, her cousins, beloved friends and her dogs Gigi, Zoey, and Julia. Cherished by all she will be greatly missed. To know her was to love her. She is survived by her husband Jermone (Jerri) Ambrozak of 35 years, her daughter Jodi A. (Ronald) Ankabrandt, grandchildren Emily and Robert Ankabrandt of Charlton, step-son John H. Ambrozak of Saratoga Springs, NY. The family wishes to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to the staff of New York Oncology Hematology PC, Dr. John Jaski , Dr. Duncan Savage at St. Peter's Cancer Care Center, and the Community Hospice of Schenectady.Funeral Services will be held on Monday morning 12:15 from the Daly Funeral Home 242 McClellan Street, Schenectady, 1 pm at St. John the Evangelist Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.
