Obituary of Anthony V. Durante

Rotterdam Junction – Anthony V. Durante passed away peacefully on Monday January 25, 2021 after a long illness. He was 96 years old. He is survived by his wife Mary Jane, his daughter Denise as well as several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Dr. Caitlyn Sonagere, Community Hospice, the staff at The Grand as well as his devoted aides: Rose, Wendy, Sarah, Kayla and Parrie whose loving care allowed him to remain in his home until recently. To his nephews and nieces, especially Bobby and Richard, who reached out to him via phone calls or home visits, thank you. These meant a lot to him. In keeping with his wishes there will be no viewing hours. A graveside service will be held in St. John's Cemetery at a future date this summer.
