Betty was without a doubt my favorite professor at Skidmore. Her teaching style and friendly approach towards students was wonderful. After graduating in 1983 I called on Betty as business client, we didn’t talk much about business, it was always about family and life. My favorite memory was her needing to have her car mechanic read my final term paper to verify it’s accuracy. The paper was on tuning a car lol, no idea how I was able to write that one but we had some laughs taking about it.
My deepest sympathy to her family, she was a great lady.
