Obituary of Norma E. Fraking

Schenectady – Norma Elizabeth Fraking, 94, passed away Wednesday February 17, 2021. Born in Orange, Massachusetts on November 30, 1926 she was the daughter of the late William and Mildred Tedford. She was employed by the General Electric Company in the Advertising and Sales Promotion Dept. Norma was a member of St. Margaret of Cortona Parish where she belonged to Altar Society, Renew Group and the Faith and Light Group. She was also a past member St. Madeline Sophie Christ Child Society and HEAR (Hearing Endeavor for the Albany Region. Norma was predeceased by her husband Owen H. Fraking, sisters Catherine Bullis and Helen Gray and brother William Tedford. She is survived by her son John of Davidson, NC, daughter Kathleen of Glenville, NY, one grandson, a great-granddaughter and several nieces and nephews. In accordance with Norma's wishes, funeral services will be private. Interment will be in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Red Cross of Schenectady, 2330 Watt St., Schenectady, NY 12304, or a local service dog organization of one's choice.
