Obituary of Saudi Hester

Saudi Hester was born on March 28, 1975 in Kings County hospital in Brooklyn, NY. Our black king was called up to heaven on Sunday February 14,2021 due to natural causes. His occupation for 25 plus years was of a contractor. He loved his work and did top of the line work always. He was also an outstanding entrepreneur overall. He could turn nothing into something regardless of what he was given to work with. Saudi was a very loving man. He gave love to many and he received love from many. He had many talents and a wonderful personality. Also a great sense of humor whenever he felt like it. Saudi is survived by his wife of 15 years Margaret Joseph Hester. His mother and father, Cherie Goodwin and Calvin Hester. His children oldest to youngest, Wayne Samuels, Sydea Goodwin, Dayshawn Ray, Jahmorie Joseph, Amillion Joseph, Amijarai Joseph, Jaylen and Saudi Joseph Hester Jr. He was also a stepfather as well as a wonderful grandfather. He absolutely adored and loved his 2 grandchildren Aziyah and Savion. His grandfather Willie Goodwin. Four brothers and three sisters, six nieces and two nephews. Many cousins from both sides of the family as well. And close family friends. The viewing will be from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Daly Funeral home located at 242 McClellan st. Schenectady, NY 12304. The service will follow up right after starting at 12:15 p.m. The burial will take place at park view cemetery located at 40 Fehr ave. Schenectady, NY, 12304. There is going to be a repass following the burial for family and friends to attend as well. That will take place at refreshing springs church located at 327 Georgetta Dix Plaza Schenectady, NY, 12307 starting at 2:00 p.m. All flowers, plants and cards for the family are welcomed. Also we will be accepting donations and contributions. Please send or bring all donations and contributions to the donation box which will be present throughout the entire service.
