Obituary of Jason Paul Carter

Schenectady – Jason Paul Carter, 44, died Thursday April 1, 2021 in Schenectady, NY. He was born in New York City on October 18, 1976 the son of Odessa Carter and Sylvester MCentyre. He was married to Markella Robertson on February 13, 2007 in Schenectady, NY. Jason known as "Hopps" was a hard worker and a loving and dedicated father, uncle, son and friend to all who knew him. He touched many lives of the people he came across and left a beautiful path of kids. For generations to come, he is survived by four sons: Jason Paul Carter, Jr., Traekwan Giovannone, Zy'air Stottt and Zaccai Perry and two beautiful daughters: Azaleia Carter and Odessa Carter. He is also survived by one brother Charles Carter, three sisters: Jeanetta Carter, Veletta MCentyre and Shameeka MCentyre, along with a long line of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. We all would love to say we love you and you had a beautiful soul and spirit. You loved the Red and could cook your soul off. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at 2:30 p.m., at Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St., Schenectady. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
