Obituary of Ann M. Brown

Rotterdam – Ann Brown, 59, passed away Tuesday April 20, 2021. Ann was born, raised and educated in Glens Falls, NY the daughter of Michael Cottrell and the late Sharon (Bennett-Burch) Cottrell. Ann spent most of her professional life as a Registered Nurse having worked at Albany Medical Center Hospital, Ellis Hospital and most notably Glens Falls Hospital. She was an avid gardener, cook and loved going to shows at Proctor's Theater where she was a season ticket holder. In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband Jeff Brown, sons Patrick (Kim) Cornell and A.J. (Laura) Cornell, grandchildren: Calvin, Collin and Molly, brother Jamie Cottrell and canine companions Jackson, Bella and Gabrielle. In addition to her mother, she was predeceased by her brother Michael Cottrell, Jr. Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ann's name, to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society.
