Obituary of Mary Jane Durante

Mary Jane Durante passed away Saturday May 22, 2021. She was predeceased by her spouse Anthony and is survived by her daughter Denise. She is also survived by her dear friend Diana Bush, sister-in-law Toni and several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Bobby and Richard for their visits and to nieces Cathy Ayres and Michele for their support over the years. Enormous gratitude to her aides Rose, Wendy, Sarah, Kayla and Parrie whose care allowed her to remain at home until recently. Thanks to Dr. Caitlyn Sonagere as well as the staff at the Grand, aide Kim, Amy, Abby, Stephanie, Jessica, Jenn and any others I may have missed, for providing her care and keeping her comfortable. In her final days, she took great joy in watching the antics of the birds and squirrels at the feeder outside her window. In her memory, put out a feeder and observe the beauty of nature. Interment in St. John the Baptist Cemetery. A memorial gathering will be held at a future date this summer.
